Jessi's dance training includes Latin Ballroom, Swing, Contact Improvisation, Modern, Contemporary Ballet, Counter-technique, and Partnering. She has trained with extensively under Ilya Vidrin, learning his partnering technique and improvisation methods. She has also trained with Jill Johnson, Nailah Randall-Beringer, and Adrian Hoffman. She currently performs with the Reciprocity Collaborative and conducts movement-research with Ilya Vidrin at the Partnering Lab.

 

Jessi is an emerging choreographer, and finds inspiration through interdisciplinary collaborations with musicians, visual artists, and filmmakers. She was named one of Dance Magazine's "25 to Watch" (2022) and is the 2022-2023 Dancemaker in Residence at Boston Center for the Arts and Boston Dance Alliance.
